Sprint, Clearwire and Comcast plan to launch 4G mobile Internet service in 11 new markets during the fourth quarter. According to Softpedia, the three companies will all sell the service under their own brand names in three cities: Philadelphia, Chicago and Seattle.

Next month, Sprint and Clearwire will deliver service to Charlotte, Greensboro and Raleigh in North Carolina; Dallas/Fort Worth and San Antonio in Texas; and Honolulu and Maui in Hawaii. The announcement keeps Clearwire in line to offer its 4G WiMax service in 17 markets by the end of the year, as promised, notes Mobile Burn.
