T-Mobile Rolls Out HSPA+ in Philadelphia

-Mobile announced that it has rolled out HSPA+ in Philadelphia and has activated 20 cell sites within the city's metropolitan area. The company plans to expand the service in Philadelphia and launch HSPA+ in other markets during 2010, MobileBurn reports.



According to Brighthand, HSPA+ can offer download speeds up to 42 Mbit/s and upload speeds of 20 Mbit/s under ideal conditions. While stepping up its 3G efforts, T-Mobile is also working towards moving its service to 4G LTE.
